- Make Connecticut a better place to run a business by lowering corporate and personal income tax rates
- Provide tax incentives to businesses that create new jobs
- Cut the high number of burdensome state regulations
- Require a cost-benefit analysis on all health-care mandates that increase the cost of health insurance
Public Safety
- Enact a tougher "3 Stikes and You're Out" law to put the worst of the worst offenders in jail for life
- Reform the parole system, including requiring GPS monitoring for violent offenders who are paroled back into the community
- Prevent serial rapists from moving back into residential neighborhoods
Education
- Ensure that new accountability measures are used, so that taxpayers' money is not spent on school programs that are underperforming
- Allow Regional Vocational Education centers to charge a higher tuition to those outside municipalities
- Fight to further increase educational funding to small towns
- Fully fund the Teachers' Retirement Fund every year, thereby addressing the large unfunded liability
